Cycling in Amsterdam

Experience Amsterdam like a local

Everybody who has experienced Amsterdam by bike knows that cycling is integral to appreciating the city. Not just for the experience itself, but simply to get from point A to point B.
Avoid the overcrowded sidewalks and public transport – get on a bike and enjoy the freedom of going wherever you want, whenever you want. Having a bike allows you to escape the tourist trap of the city centre. Amsterdam is more than just the red-light district, Dam square and  coffee shops. That’s not where we, the locals, hang out. We go to NDSM, the old shipyard area, home of the artists. We get our herring at the Dappermarkt, and hang out at the beautiful Vondelpark: just a few of our regular haunts. So what are you waiting for? Visit our shop or reserve your bike online at the best bike rental in Amsterdam. We guarantee you an Amsterdam experience like no other.

Looking for something other than a typical ‘’tourist’’ rental bike?

Having a brightly coloured bike doesn’t exactly give you the local experience… That’s why we help you to blend in by providing non-touristy bikes. That means no signs on the front screaming “I’m a tourist’’, none of those painfully bright colours, no annoying noises as you pedal. No, just sturdy, monochrome, high-quality, made-in-Holland city bikes from Azor. Besides our top-of-the-line city bikes, we also have slick single speed bikes for any thrill seekers.

Renting a bike in Amsterdam was the highlight of our trip. The folks at YourCityBike were very friendly and extremely helpful. We rented a City bike as well as a Dutch cargo bike for our 3 year old and he had an absolute blast

Our family of six rented four bikes. Kids ages 16, 11, 9, & 8. Youngest 2 in 2 kid tandem bikes with mom and dad. Oldest on regular bike. 11 year old on kid bike. We all ABSOLUTELY LOVED the bikes! They REALLY made the trip. Great family bonding. Great so the kids didn’t have to walk everywhere. Overall amazing service and very helpful recomendations!

This is definitely one of the best bike rental companies I've used and I have used quite a few. My daughters and I hired three traditional Dutch bikes, which were in very good condition and the service was excellent. Very friendly and extremely helpful and informative. I will definitely use this company again when we revisit Amsterdam!
